Morado / Purple
Daniel Oviedo / Wongin The View
Short Film / Poem
2025

Morado / Purple is a video poem that reflects on how meaning is invented when certainty fails. Purple does not exist in the spectrum, it lives in the mind, born from the need to connect what cannot fully be explained.
Through the color purple, the piece explores time, choice, imperfection, and the human urge to create sense in the face of darkness. Rather than seeking answers, the work embraces uncertainty, proposing that beauty often emerges from what we imagine in order to survive.
Purple is an invitation to live with questions, to accept fragility, and to inhabit the personal colors we create to understand the chaos around us.
Written, directed, and edited by Daniel Oviedo.
