Ballonerism
Daniel Oviedo - Wongin The View
Short Film
2026

This poem is inspired by Balloonerism by Mac Miller and the idea that we are like balloons, capable of rising higher and higher, yet fragile in what keeps us afloat. Our ascent is never guaranteed to last. Rather than fearing the fall, the poem invites us to be present in the moment of elevation, to enjoy the lightness, the distance from the ground, and the quiet beauty of being up there, even knowing it won’t last forever.
